“It’s kinda incredible watching your course video’s, because I was dying to ask u, what ru seeing ? How do I see what I need to see ? Then as I kept on looking at the models all the while listening, I’m starting to recognize shapes and shades that I’ve never seen before, by really looking, really observing ! Asking myself, he’s achieving this by throwing all the 100 years of so called structure literally out the window ! And can’t be challenged because the proofs are in the pudding ! It’s almost like a Jedi, trust in the force! Let it guide u ? All the while stupefied, is Tony a modern day Davinci who has leap frogged him? Remember Leonardo was so obsessed with anatomy trueness that he would perform autopsies to try and capture realness. Okay, I understand Tony is not trying to do that! He’s elevated his game to an even harder level thats supposedly on a spiritual level. Try to capture the spirit of the subject, the essence, and it will guide u ! If that isn’t Jedi philosophy , I don’t know what is ? It seems almost abstract in nature. I have yet to to put charcoal to paper because I like to go thru the whole course first to really try and get the gist of it, then go back again and incorporate the hands to paper, Tony would probably tell me don’t wait too-long and just start doing it. I guess I’m glad I didn’t learn too much formal theory so that it won’t be detrimental to the new way ! Regardless, I’m highly recommending his courses, let go, and trust in what he’s teaching.
